It came and went for the vast majority of us, only being given a closer look now because Rocket League seemingly came out of “nowhere. It’s soccer with cars that can flip, twist, and turbo towards the ball and one another inside an arena. Good job with that goal, me! Similar, yes, but there are key differences. Visually, Rocket League is polished as hell, and the presentation is important for making Rocket League stick, especially for newcomers. There are no power-ups in either one, but the few currently available arenas in Rocket League are dead simple: There’s no complexity to the layout, whereas Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars quickly introduced lots of variety. I suspect Rocket League will become more complex over time, as the game appears to be mirroring Nintendo’s approach with Splatoon, by introducing new layers of depth after release.

The MCC has had matchmaking issues since it launched in November of , and acknowledges those issues were due in large part to the way the collection was developed. Recent updates, along with the release of the Xbox One X, have provided the team with an opportunity to resolve long-standing issues. O’Connor states that these updates were not possible until recently, due to a number of improvements the platform team made over the last year.
Since their work has been reliant on a number of different systems instead of just one issue, estimating the timing of the update has been difficult until now. This patch, like the Xbox One update that released just before Christmas, brings general “quality-of-life” improvements, as well as a few gameplay tweaks. Elsewhere, the in-game options menu has added a new variable that lets you tweak aim acceleration, a change that will hopefully help players who have found PUBG more difficult to play with a controller than on PC ‘s mouse and keyboard setup. You can also now turn music on or off via the same menu.

The Inner Colonies, being closer to Earth, are more developed and politically stable. Due to the older planets’ need for the raw materials and supplies the Outer Colonies provide, tensions and outright civil war foments between the colonies and the UNSC. Twenty-seven years before the events of the main game trilogy, UNSC communication with the colony Harvest is lost, and the ship sent to investigate is destroyed by the Covenant , a theocratic collective of aliens bent on exterminating humanity.
Industries has released a new game update for Halo: The Master Chief Collection today, and focuses on several bug fixes asked for by range from matchmaking, exploits, and more. One of the big fixes rolled into this patch is with Halo: CE, though there’s some bad news accompanying it.
Fret not because, the patch now has a new release date though the update may not be available for long. Siege also imposes new penalties for those who repeatedly kill the same teammate and introduces improvements to the network infrastructure. You can see the full patch notes below. These improvements are primarily intended to make it easier for Ubisoft to deal with networking problems in future updates.
While this update will not correct all connectivity problems right now, the update to our infrastructure is aimed more towards preparing us for the road ahead. You will see a reduction in connectivity issues in future patches as we continue to utilize these improvements to positively impact your gaming experience! If this is the case, we will correct the issue and deploy the changes below in patch 4. This upgrade does not come without risks, but is a pivotal steps toward having a more reliable service, as well as give us the tools we need to correct connectivity issues more quickly.
As this is new technology that we are experimenting with, there is a possibility that we may be forced to perform a roll back to Patch 4.

Certainly not the worst delay, but it is yet another setback for the Halo collection that was so anticipated. The Halo Championship series is an official eSports league for competitive Halo gamers. Anniversary is to be the leagues first focus, but that has been put on hold as continues to plow away at the Matchmaking problems Halo: This delay will ensure that the first pre-season cup is up to the standards of our fans and competitors.
i via Halowaypoint announced that a brand new patch for Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Xbox One will be released to address matchmaking performance, UI, gameplay, and title-specific issues.
The series has come a long way, now offering fully mapped virtual cities, civilians that live their own lives, and enough guns and ammo to take a small country to war. Arguably the most successful GTA title was San Andreas, offering depths of customization and interaction never before seen in the franchise, the game even spawned a highly successful online player mod, SAMP. Since then the series still remains popular but has never quite gripped gamers since GTA SA was released.
Grand Theft Auto 4, by most accounts, was a great game but it was linear when compared to San Andreas and left many gamers confused as to why they removed so many of the features that made SA as good as it was. Rockstar fans around the world rejoiced as the game went on to sell 3, , copies in the first week across both systems! Of course, the PS4 accounted for most of those sales Sorry XBox with over two million of those copies being purchased for our glorious system.
